Contact ToRoute

ToRoute is a small, independent, ad-supported site — there is no call centre and no ticket queue, but a real person reads what comes in to support@toroute.com.

A few things this address is genuinely useful for: a calculator that gave you a result you think is wrong (say which tool — the distance between coordinates, bearing calculator, coordinate converter, ETA calculator, fuel cost calculator, or midpoint calculator— and the coordinates or figures you entered); a tool or a navigation topic you wish the site covered; an out-of-date fact or broken link in the blog, learn section, or the Museum of Navigation; or a bug in how a page looks or behaves on your device.

There’s no fixed response time to promise, and no live chat — email is read and handled as it comes in. If your question is really about a safety-critical fix — navigating at sea or in the air, a survey, or an emergency — an official chart, your calibrated instruments, or the relevant authority will give a far better answer than this site can. ToRoute’s tools produce educational estimates on a spherical-Earth model, not survey-grade measurements, and the site isn’t affiliated with any GPS, mapping, or navigation brand.

Before writing in about a tool result, it’s worth double-checking the values you entered — a latitude and longitude swapped, a missing minus sign on a southern or western coordinate, or a distance and speed in mismatched units is the most common source of a surprising answer. If it still looks wrong after that, that’s exactly the kind of message worth sending.
